To all who was following my older post, it seems that the problem has corrected
itself. I use Ubuntu on a dual boot system, which I normally keep in XP due to
the wife. This morning I boot into Ubuntu, and wouldn't you know that everything
on my screen looks smaller. I have made no changes to the system except for
installing updates periodically. Maybe now I will be brave enough to upgrade the
laptop from 9.04
