Question Answered By: Adah Miller   on Dec 11

I think, my modem is not supported by new
kernel.

Now, I'm looking for Ubuntu driver or Windows driver as your advice. In
XP, modem driver use SYS file, not INF file. So, I can not use ndisgtk .
If there is no driver, maybe I have to buy new modem or "down grade" to
8.10.

I also have other problem, when I'm connecting to internet (as usually,
I have to connect with XP first), in Network connections, the last
connection was 2 days ago, not now. Actually, I can connect, browsing,
etc (Mobile broadband connection 'Excelcomindo (XL)' active). Something
wrong with my Ubuntu 9.04.
