I am trying to catch up with this thread...I was the cool edit pro fellow
(as well as fruity loops, which I never posted).

I have my mic in, with the +20db boost checked as well as mic capture
checked. Sound Recorded doesn't do anything...it just lays blankly there
where I try to record something....was singing along to an mp3 playing in
totem. Help?
