Question Answered By: Adah Miller   on Dec 11

I can understand wanting to stay with the old, but why not convert
your db to MySQL? By choosing Linux for your computer opporating
system, the server (Apache) PHP inabled with MySQL db placed behind a
firewall can be used for access using a web browser from anyplace,
even the CEO's home, making a central database that will be cross
platform and extendable, for any future expansion. A web programmer
can modify forms, and using a dynamic display program like media wiki
may well cover your back side well after MS goes belly up from there
foolish business model. You could choose one of the many CMS open
source programs to make access by different departments more user
friendly, and Media Wiki is only one solution.

this link http://tinyurl.com/5oze64 offers information on how to
import your foxpro db to a MySQL data base, After you have converted
your data base to MySQL you will have the best data base today.
