HP Printer not printing

I had a similar problem with a Canon printer under Kubuntu on the service
laptop. It recognized the printer but could not print anything. The Katastrophe
program came with some message errors. I will retry.
I always managed to print very well with my former HP Photosmart under Ubuntu.
