well tried that! at the prompt i type in anything it
comes up something like bash doesn't recognise x, y or z including
sudo fdsk!

Worth noting that whilst it was scrolling through millions of lines of
script i kept seeing references to '5000' and '3248'... if that helps any!

My heart is sinking... linux is meant to be so more robust than windows!
