To find out what version of Linux you are using, on the top
panel is the word "System", no quotes, click on that and you will
see at the bottom "About Ubuntu", or maybe what ever version you
are using, it will tell you what you have loaded. Much like a Windows
system you can click on help and get information on what you are using.
