I see people with registered linux numbers. How do you get that?
I'm new to linux only about 6 months. I'm using Mint and have Ubuntu
on my smaller drive.

One last question and I'll move on. Not being familiar with the Linux
number since I'm new here, should I register and if so why?
I'm just a beginner and not an experienced user.

You don't have to be an experienced user to be counted.
All the Linux Counter is, is a way to find out how many Linux Users
there are.
If you don't add yourself you can't be counted as a Linux User.
Just go ahead and check out the website.
