How can you reset FF

You FF settings are in the hidden folder /.mozilla/firefox/*.default in
your home userspace.

You can delete the whole folder safely and it will give you a clean start.
Conversely you can just delete it selectively. To see hidden folders use
Ctrl+H in Nautilus or Alt+. in Dolphin.
