Problem of beep a sound

i setup beep but when i run it the commard works but it doesn't make
any sound, is it a problem from my terminal?

is the case speaker on?.....................

yes the speaker is on, here is my sound pannel configuration:
device : hda intel (alsa mixer)
playback:
master : maximum
pcm : maximum
front : maximum
front mic : desabled
switches:
headphone : activated


i don't see from where the problem can come?
