Question Answered By: Adah Miller   on Dec 18

Last night I installed a Belkin F5d7050 version 4001 on Ubuntu 8.04.
Didn't need to install any drivers, justed configured to match my
wireless router that it communicates with. From what I have heard, the
earlier versions, 1000, 2000 and 3000, you need 'ndiswrapper' to
install the windows driver. But version 4000 works out of the box.

Now if I could just get my Belkin USB wireless to work. None of the
online solutions work for my model, and have seen where others had the
same problem, so I'll chalk it up to not-yet-supported hardware.
