Thanks for the information. I tried a wireless card with no luck. The
computer would freeze up at the grub and go no further. Bought a
linksys wired ethernet pci card at Walmart. The model number is
NC100U-WM. It worked and am now connected to the internet. This card
runs much faster than a usb adapter and now looking foreward to
updating this operating system. Again, thank for pointing me in the
right direction.
