Does the old fdisk /mbr from a dos prompt not get win7 going again? You will
likely need to run the Win7 repair option from the recovery cd/partition as
the partition you shrunk may now have been flagged as dirty (unless you
resized it from the Windows recovery partition menu). If there are no other
suggestions, you may want to consider giving supergrub a try...
