have you checked your monitor settings? could be that. It was on mine. I dont
have a la top but my chip set is via. Ubuntu has allways picked up all of those
for me. I was only getting 800x600 resolution,It picks up my monitor but want
give but one or two low hesoutions.You have to change it from screen and
graphics.On the screen page where it says monitor click on it. It wil open a new
window.Seton geeric model and lcd panel with whatever reslution you want. Mabe
this will help.
