I just installed linux mandrake 8.1 on my computer. i partitioned my drive, so i am dual-booting linux and windows 98 on the same computer. i am having trouble installing my d-link dfe-530tx+ fast ethernet adapter driver on linux. there's three files on the driver diskette that came with the ethernet adapter(a file with the ".C" extension, a "README.TXT", and some other file). to install the adapter do i need to compile the ".C" file, if so how do i do that ? and if not, what is the operation to install the ethernet adapter?
