Question Answered By: Adah Miller   on Dec 13

I have an AVI file that vlc refuses to play saying it doesn't have the
codecs for it. I have tried several programs that are supposed to play
AVI (visual - not sound) but can't get it to work. On the Windows side I
can't find any media player (or the correct cidecs)that will play the
AVI file except the media player installed with vista. Go figure. Any
ideas for a Linux one that can read this AVI file?
