I have seen this kind of problem coming up in other discussion groups. It seems that it is a common problem for people using whether websphere 3.5.6 or when they try to setting up SSL on IBM/Apache http server.

IBM should be aware of this problem and thay normally have an efix as a solution. Efixes can be find here:

www-3.ibm.com/.../support.html

If your company is a customer of ibm  and has signed support agreement then you should also have access (requires password) to their online support and may find the solution there.
