Strange Network Problem

Since I upgraded my linksys to dd-wrt v2.4 from 2.3, I have strange
problem on my network. But I did some 'apt-get update/upgrade' too at
the same time... I know too many changes at same time can complicate
your lifea lot... So it could be related to some other upgrade I
did...

My machine doesn't get its default route set at all when the network
start.

Here is my route table now:

I had to manually set the default route to be able to reach the
internet. guesswho is my usual default gateway at 192.168.1.1 (the
linksys wich is connected to a cable modem).

I have a second wireless nic too and I had to un-install
NetworkManager to be able to connect with my cabled network. NM would
not let me set manually the /etc/network/interfaces and not let me
handle myself the ifconfig voodoo. I just added my nic (eth0) to be
set up with DHCP at start. The linksys is configured to be the DHCP
server in my lan.

I cannot connect to my wireless nic either. In both cases (wired and
wireless) I get a virtual NIC instead of just the real one. When the
network goes up it set up 'eth0' and 'eth0:0'. The first one doesn't
get any IP address and the second one (eth0:0) get the IP I used to
have with the first one before. The wireless NIC doesn't connect
anymore. The eth2:0 get connected to 169.254.0.142 dummy address. I'm
very puzzled since, with the wired nic (eth0), once I fixe the route
everything get to work as usual.
