problem installing language support

Date: Dec 13    Category: Unix / Linux / Ubuntu    Views: 313

No matter what language I try to install support for (using System-->
Administration --> Language Support) I get the same message:

----------------------
Could not install the full language support

Usually this is related to an error in your software archive or
software manager. Check your software preferences in the Menu
"Administration".
----------------------

This is when I'm connected to the net, as evidenced by the
fact that I'm sending this now.

But in Software Preferences checked I have: downloadable from the net
I have Cannonical-supported, Community-maintained, Proprietary Drivers
and Restricted by Copyright. Only Source Code is not checked. Under
Third-Party I have Hardy Heron i386 binary checked. Updates are OK.

Anybody know what might be the problem?
