Question Answered By: Adah Miller   on Dec 28

It's strange, but a couple of years ago, when I switched entirely over
to Ubuntu, I lost my ability to experiment with Linux. When Ubuntu was
no longer a toy that was delegated to my back up computer, but my only
OS on both of my computers, it became critical that it did everything
right every time.

7.04 seriously crippled both of my machines. For me it was beyond
twitchy. After a lot of mucking around, I was able to get 6.10 to work
on one of my machines and I put Mepis on the other and muddled through
until 7.10 came out.

Like 6.10 before it, 7.10 has been solid as a rock. I'm going to be
slow to move away from it.
