Question Answered By: Adah Miller   on Jan 04

I have a remote desktop far from my router, I originally setup a Linksys
WAP11 in reverse (most will allow you to do this). When it is setup you can
plug it into a machine that was hardwired and it knows no differance, I just
upgraded to a Buffalo WHR-G54S and did the same thing, setup in AP mode with
the flip, locked the 2 Mac addresses together and the computer can't tell the
differance between wired or wireless. This saves a lot of hair pulling, may
not be the best solution for a laptop.
