I have been playing with the PDF editor. Within a few minutes you could
be up and running with this program. Using the tool to "extract text",
unless the file has been protected in some way, you will get a window
you can copy text from.

One note; anything that has been published has a copyright. You should
ask to copy for most uses unless stated otherwise. If the author likes
what you are going to do he may send you a copy that you can easily work
with. I know that I get activated when I see my work published
elsewhere, but have freely given permission to publish when asked, for
nothing more than a bi-line.
