Question Answered By: Adah Miller   on Dec 07

My original cdrw will run from any windows machine. Turn on the machine and
ubuntu starts right up. Do it on any linux machine - shows a empty disk.

I did start from my windows machine and run the test and it says everything is
fine.

I have just finished downloading another 9.04 iso and tried using K3b to burn it
and received an error at the 2% mark.

Just to be sure, I took the new download next door to my neighbor to have him
burn the image and he received the same problem. Im absolutely stumped. If we
were using the same cd's I would suspect that -- but we are not.
