Question Answered By: Adah Miller   on Dec 25

when you install 8.4 or any other version you do not need to
prepare the hard drive, the install has a partitioner that does it all
for you leaving your Windows alone. If you use wubi it installs on the
C: drive as a folder and again does not alter your Windows set up. You
can of course try the system first as a live start up without installing.

Most monitors will show it fine.
