Google is the answer! From the Google search page, click the "more" tab and
select "even more." At the bottom-right is "translate." I use it for English
to Chinese and vice-versa.

I open two tabs, type something in English, copy/paste the translated result
onto the Chinese to English page, and if it still seems to have my original
meaning, send the Chinese to my sweetie.
