I found and tried Wubi about two years ago and installed it, can't
remember which version of Ubuntu it was. It worked right off the bat but
I didn't care for a lot of it's functions such as speed, but probably
was the old Compac I tried it on with win 2000. It did install easy
without a catch and would be good for a beginner to get a taste of
linux. I do not have any use for Microsoft's software anymore so won't
mess with the newest Wubi. I have removable Hard drives in this machine
and like to play with new distro's but have not found a match for
Ubuntu.
