Question Answered By: Adah Miller   on Dec 04

You can copy and paste from list view. You cannot use the mouse alone. I
think that it is the same as in Windows, but admit that it has been awhile
since I have used Windows.

Use a mouse and keyboard combination:

The same hotkeys work as in Windows. Click on the first and hold the shift
key down while clicking on the last will select those and all in between.
Using the Ctrl key while clicking will select individual files. Ctrl-A will
select all. Ctrl-C will copy and Ctrl-V will paste. You can also use the
right click or the menu.

Ctrl-H will reveal hidden files (begin with a period in Linux).

Drag and drop also will work as long as you can see both Windows on the same
screen. Hold the shift key while dragging and dropping will move them while
not doing so will copy them.
