Have you tried 8.04? i had a problem with 8.10 and 8.04 would load and not
8.10. One of the things is ,it don't like ATI video. Nvidia works ok. The other
thing I had a problem with,was the CD drive . Had to change around some till I
got one that would work. Newest isn't always the one, either. Think I ended up
with a straight CD dri\ve,not a burner. I talked to dave W1HKJ on this and he
thoughtit had to do with the drivers that were installed.Hope this helps you.
