Install Ubuntu from USB

if i put ubuntu on a stick from my laptop & install it on my netbook, will it
have current updates or be as first installed from cd on my laptop?

It will search for updates as usual. Unless you turn the update switch off.

guess what i meant was, will it transfer all current updates from laptop to
netbook?
