Sure 256 or 255 is the limit. I forgot it but what I mean is a big
number.

When I want to fill, say, 1:1000 in a column  (without adjcent
cells), it is awkward to drag.

The best way I figured is to select  1000 cells first then fill.

Any hints are welcomed.
