My gutsy installation has slowed down considerably. I looked inseveral files to get a clue on what the problem is but have not foundanything that helps. Can someone suggest what steps I may take to findthe source of this problem?
Depends on processor or amount of ram. Are you running 3d desktop?

If you have a program called trackerd running, disable it fromsessions (system preferences) if evms is installed, deinstall it.this is the most common slowdown in 7.10
