MJVM and Enabling Java

This may be stupid but...I was trying use yahoo chat and my computer
says that I need to Enable Java. Last week it says I need to fix
something about the Microsoft Java Virtual Machine. I tried but I
couldn't get it fix. Obviously, I don't realy use chat. I am using
MS XP. Any suggestions?
