JDBC SQL Server Problem

We are trying to migrate a Java based application currently on
Oracle 9i to SQL Server 2000. We are in search of a proper
JDBC driver for the same. Going through a commercial vendor's
(DataDirect) site we found that Microsoft may not continue
providing support for newer versions of JDBC.

We would appreciate if you could recommend a good JDBC driver
for SQL Server 2000 which support TEXT / IMAGE storage.
