Yes, Mepis is a good Debian derived distro with a KDE desktop . I still
have version 8.0 (AD2008) on a laptop with P3-866MHz and only 256MB RAM
(max for that machine).
Of course rather ¨long in the tooth¨ but still usable ........keep it as is
for posterity.
