Is your router set-up to require your MAC address? Have you reset your
router yet? If I can see wifi routers I don't look to see what is wrong
with my Linux box. Not just my machine but any I am working on. Are you
typing the password in in the proper case (all lower, all upper, or
whatever case you have originally typed in the PW). If you have the
names of local wifi your OS is communicating with the device in your
machine.
