Question Answered By: Adah Miller   on Feb 19

The only thing that I can think of is that Konqueror is more than a file
manager. It is also a web browser, so it is more sophisticated with more
libraries. That is only a guess. These sorts of things are hard to
replicate to test out. It could also have something to do with KDE which
Konqueror is part of. To test out whether it is KDE or just Konqueror and
its peculiarities I would try Dolphin which is also KDE, but does not have
browser capabilities. If it happens in Dolphin too then I would attribute
it to KDE that is downloaded when you install a KDE application. If it only
happens in Konqueror then it is likely to do which just that application
and its peculiar nature.
