Don't forget that you can upgrade via 8.10 Update manager. I ran the
upgrade last night and ran into no issues. The upgrade even rebuilt the
virtual box kernel modules for my Windows VM. So far so good. My wireless
is working better now with the update Kernel (Issues with the Intel ABGN Pro
Wireless card.) Upgrade took about 4-5 hours last night. Also, I backed
up my home directory w/ backintime before upgrading.
