Problems with Jaunty

To be sure it has increased the speed of boot time and other areas.

OK 9.04 64 bit installed on Phenom II Clean install all
partitions reformatted to ext4, auxiliary drive partitioned to
reiserfs (only because it balked on ext4.)

Ctrl+Alt+Backspace does NOT work. sudo dontzap --disable
returned a dontzap is not installed comment- so I installed
dontzap and ran the command again. It still doesn't work. Is there
an alternate workaround for this?

LinuxDC++ opens but voluntary closes within seconds - this used to
work on 8.10 but on the final day it did not
Newsbin Pro installed thru Wine also shuts itself down within
minutes- this worked well on 8.10

FlashGet installed thru Wine works better on 9.04( greater access
to alternate directories)

NZB - installed , seemed OK but crashed before the first nzb
file was finished. Uninstalled

Klibido - installed- is working altho not the way newsbin
does- tis better than nothing.

PyPar2 is not recognized by the system when trying to open par2
files. I have to literally open Pypar2 and open the par2 file
from inside the program. Then it works. This was not necessary on 8.10

ARK will not open Rar files neither will Archive Manager. I
had to install WinRAR thru Wine in order to process Rar files
????? And again, the system does not recognize WinRAR I have to
literally open the program and process files from inside. Again
this was not necessary on 8.10

Auxiliary drive named Storage is clearly owned by me and for
create or delete files.
Several folders have been made with no problems.

Then created a folder for nzbdownloads- permissions on that folder
are in my user name, but was denied
access to even open the folder or to delete it. Said I did not have
the proper permissions. Attempted to access thru Nautilus, but it
was missing ??? did not show in the filesystem. On Reboot that
folder no longer exists. I would like to understand what happened here.

If anyone has an answer to even one of the above problems, or
commentary that would help explain the behavior please let me know.
