Admit it's very rare that it happens but in the 10+ years I've been
doing this job a handful of wireless adapters ( USB mainly and one
memorable occasion with a laptop mini-pci adapter ) have had this
problem and whilst most of them responded to new drivers a couple just
didn't want to know and had to be replaced.
