So yesterday I went to the above website. And I downloaded "
gnome-vfs-obexftp-0.2.tar.gz"

Then I managed to use the Archive Manager to extract it into it's own folder
under my user name "Peter" (that is my user name I use to log in).

Then I opened a 'terminal' shell and I tried to follow the instructions.

To be honest, I was getting very upset 'cos I cannot find my reading
glasses.... I think I may have left them at my doctor's office. [ I get
upset because I need my reading glasses really to see the computer screen
properly... however, I'm using my normal glasses now and I can see the
screen okay for now! ]

Would someone here please be kind enough to step me through the commands I
need to type into the terminal shell to install this program? Also, just to
add to the problems, my printer does not have any ink in the cartridge (eg
the cartridge needs refilling!!!) ... so I cannot print out anything.
