XCFE Desktop

I'm running Ubuntu 8.04 using the XCFE desktop. I am trying to add stuff
from the applications menu to my desktop. In KDE or Gnome, all you do is
right-click and choose ADD TO DESKTOP.
Not so in XCFE. When I right click, it launches the application.
How do I go about fixing this?
