does anyone have a via ac 97 modem working with feisty fawn?
i dont know what i'm doing, LOL
i have a client that i'd like to dial-up to -- its the only time
i want to use a modem.

this machine a compaq tablet with this modem internally.
feisty works great on everything else on this machine.
i just cannot figure-out how to get this modem set-up
and for dial-up

any help appreciated -- i have that gnome ppp installed.
when i go to set this up, it just says connecting, but, i hear
nothing and it just hangs...
