Ubuntu 12.04 Issues

Date: Feb 12    Category: Unix / Linux / Ubuntu    Views: 374

I have loaded Xubuntu 12.04 on the disk where I have been loading
Ubuntu 12.04 and had the launcher problem. Xubuntu 12.04 is working
fine and I am getting it set up to my liking. Now I may go ahead
in a day or two and get rid of my Mint Linux 13. Maybe not and just
keep it just in case.

Thanks to who ever suggested Xubuntu 12.04, and I am glad to be back
on some sort of Ubuntu. Yes I know it is all the same under the hood,
maybe I am just an X kinda guy.

You can have the best of both worlds. You can install XFCE in Mint or
Cinnamon or Mate in Xubuntu. No need to have both. I like several desktops
in case one messes up. I have them all installed --- just because I can. :)
