I recently updated to gusty from fiesty using the update link.That is the end of the story of my love life with ubuntu.Ubuntu won't boot up. I cut a gusty ISO and tried to recover.It will go to the ubuntu splash screen and stops.Is there any way to recover using codes at the terminal?Or is there any way at all to recover, without re-installing?
When it starts to boot up and you get to select with the arrow keys what mode tostart off with. It should say recovery mode or safe mode. Either one of thoseshould get you going. Pay attention to when it boot up. It will go like startingand say pass or fail. If you get a fail. That is the problem.
