Macros Don't run - on some PCs

Asked By: Jeff    Date: Dec 12    Category: MS Office    Views: 714

I have an odd issue. I developed a form and it works on many of our
company computers, on some, they are getting a "Compile Error - Can't
Find Project or Library" message. They are using the same version and
service pack of Excel. Also the Date/Time Picker control is not
working for them.

I've never seen this before, any thoughts?

Maybe you're using a component in your code that is available only in
the source computer where you did the code. This happens when you use
DLL's and components available in Microsoft Office 2003 but when ran
in Office 2000 don't find the right component.

or the other computers might not have the correct libraries
activated? . . . ("Microsoft Shell Controls And Automation" library.
In VBA, Tools menu, References)

You might have already checked that, but just a thought.

In the VBE go to Tools / References and find the one that says "Missing".
(There should be one.)
