J2EE Architects?

A rapidly expanding financial software company in Saadat Abad, Tehran is looking
to hire an experienced J2EE architect to join their development team.

Key responsibilities:

* Define and implement an enterprise-wide architecture and application
strategy.
* Define technical standards, including coding standards, tools, or
platforms.
* Collaborate on architecture and design decisions with a team of talented
developers
* Choosing a standard way of pursuing application development.
* Evaluate vendor technologies and support the vendor selection process.
* Communicate concepts and frameworks to developers.
* Understand broader system environment and other applications in the
organization.
* Provide technical mentoring of other engineers.

The person:

* BSc in Computer Science or equivalent, advanced degree a plus.
* Min 6 years of software design and development experience and strong
technical knowledge.
* Full life-cycle development experience, including large-scale
applications.
* Experience as an official "Lead Architect" or "Chief Architect" would be a
plus.
* Solid experience with Service Oriented Architecture.
* Experience with deploying J2EE rich and/or web client applications in a
high-availability, clustered environment.
* Expertise in the Unified Modelling Language (UML) for constructing, and
documenting the artifacts of software systems.
* Experience with Agile Methodologies such as SCRUM is preferred.
* Experience with interaction with legacy systems and phased application
integration.
* Ability to think strategically and a proven ability to create
architectures that are scalable, maintainable, reliable, and perform well.
* Exceptional hands-on analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Strong communication skills, enthusiasm, and a strong desire to succeed.
