filtering problem

  Asked By: Anpu    Date: Sep 29    Category: MS Office    Views: 456

I assume I didn't explain myself well enough to get any help. This thing is
kicking my butt so let me try again.

Worksheet = 1master
Column A = Part Number
Column C = Quantity
Column D = Quantity Designator
Column F = Assembly Group
Column M = weight

Column D is a dropdown with either a choice of pcs or assy. Now if it is pcs,
the part number that it is associated with is listed. I need to I guess first
filter to get all unique assemblies, then pull all pcs and total the weight and
place it back into the weight column of each assembly. Not sure I'm explaining
myself right but if someone could possibly assist I would sure appreciate it.

I would use a DSum formula in column  M for the Assy rows.

You may need to put an extra column with total  weight (C*M)
