Farsi in JAVA

Is it possible for everybody that has experince in writing programs (Applets - Servlets - ...) with Faris fonts for Farsi users especialy for databases, explain me the way to do this in a practical manner?

Some of this list's members as well as me had used Oracle 8i and 7 and MS
SQL Server 7, 2000 databases, different application/web servers with
Unicode and other codepages (E.G. MS 1256 and ISO stuff), please explain
your problem in details since it is sometimes dependent on you DB, App
Server, platform.

I have not problem except learning more in JAVA field.
I have a personal site Iran-Wap.com that teach JAVA and XML in farsi and a little entertaintment.
I know about i18n in JAVA and want to use this technic for using farsi fonts in java and database like SQL 7 or 2000. What is the way that I could push my clients to write information in farsi (like his or her name).
