2003 - drawing shapes

Asked By: Cory    Date: Nov 20    Category: MS Office    Views: 1042

I'm diligently pursuing a goal of getting excel to print some exact
measurement and am now experimenting with shapes.

Does anyone know if it's possible to draw a shpe on top of/within another
shape so that when the shape is moved, all of the other "sub" shapes move as
well?

Sure. You just have to "group" them. Then they become a single object.

It's like Word if you select each of the shapes  - holding down shift and
clicking each one - and then right click you get "grouping" in the
context menu. If you group items, you can them move  them about as if
they are one item.
