Is it in Ubuntu or Kubuntu ? In Kubuntu my Fujifilm camera worked OK. In
Ubuntu Intrepid Ibex there were a lot of Permission denied messages and could
open the cam only by using f-spot.
I cannot remember what happened in Linux Mint in LXDE desktop. I will retry.
Generally, KDE apps worked fine in LXDE. For example, Konqueror.
